Turkey’s top trumps
Turkey is an undisputed holiday favourite. In recent years the growth in holiday home investors has created more accommodation choice and better value for money accommodation than hotels as well as introducing tourists to previously undiscovered parts of the country and its beautiful coastline.
Perhaps the most mesmerising and enticing tourist attraction is the capital city, Istanbul. It is Turkey’s most popular holiday asset on holidaylettings.co.uk and would doubtless provide a reliable return for investors. Despite the obvious draw of Turkey’s beach holidays, the popularity of city breaks seems never ending and Istanbul certainly benefits from this trend, one that investors would do well to recognise.
Beyond the most well known and populated resorts, Marmaris stands out from the crowd and its lack of development has an appeal of its own, which sees holiday home owners benefit from greater demand as a result of more competitive tariffs and potentially greater returns.
That said, the stalwart resorts of Hisaronu, Bodrum and Kalkan continue to draw the crowds year on year particularly from June to September.
